The range of Metal Work FLUX Series flowmeters gets expanded with the introduction of the new sizes 3 and 4: the FLUX 3, with 1-1/2" threads, measures flow rates up to 8,000 Nl/min while the FLUX 4, with 2" threads, measures flow rates up to 15,000 Nl/min.

In both cases the control electronics are installed on the main body, which is made of anodized aluminium.

Like for the FLUX 1 and 2, a component specifically designed for flow linearization is mounted at the inlet of each device, designed to guarantee excellent measurement precision, without particular pressure drops.

Also the FLUX 3 and 4 - which can be mounted in any orientation - are available in versions with or without display, always with M12 connector for power supply, with variable voltage between 12 VDC (-10%) and 24 VDC (+30 %) and signal handling.
The versions with display also have a pressure and temperature transducer. Versions allowing wireless communication are also available.
 
The flow rate, pressure and temperature values ​​are shown on the display, as well as the graphs of the instant and cumulative quantities. Also the value of electrical power used to produce the measured flow is calculated and displayed.

From a communication point of view, FLUX 3 and 4 have a PNP digital output - configurable on the flow rate, pressure or total consumption value - and an analogue output that can be set to either voltage (0-10 VDC) or current ( 4-20 mA). Versions with IO-Link interface having similar features are also available. Also the new sizes are suitable for use with compressed air or inert gases and have an IP65 protection degree.
